Our Story

Meet your practitioners! Brett and Maddie met when they first started chiropractic school at Life University in Georgia. What started as study sessions quickly turned into coffee dates— and ultimately marriage. It didn’t take long before they knew owning their own chiropractic clinic together was their dream, and they are very excited to bring that dream back to Arizona, where Brett completed his undergraduate degree and created strong roots to return to.

Through navigating their own health journeys, Brett and Maddie recognize that true healing requires a whole body approach to care. They are passionate about restoring their patients health and empowering their patients to thrive.

When they’re not at the office, you can find them hiking up Camelback Mountain, exploring the weekend farmers markets, riding bikes, playing pickle ball, or lifting together at the gym. Being outside in God’s creation is what fills them up, and they carry that same energy and passion into caring for their patients. Their goal is to help every individual who walks through their doors experience healing, strength, and a healthier way of life—so they can get back to doing the things they love most, too.

Brett Wagner

Growing up as a multi-sport athlete in Port Huron, Michigan, Brett saw how regular chiropractic care allowed him to be active and healthy year round. With continuing his college baseball career at Arizona Christian University, seeing his brother's background in kinesiology and living a very active lifestyle, Brett always knew he wanted to work with people to optimize their health and performance. At ACU, Brett immersed himself in his biology degree, as he prepared to attend medical school. However, it was one of his biology professors that changed the path of his career; he owned his own chiropractic clinic, which Brett visited and shadowed. After hearing patient results and testimonials, Brett realized that this was the way he wanted to treat his future patients, by avoiding drugs and surgery, and helping them reclaim their health naturally.

As he continued through chiropractic school, Brett saw his patients improve from getting adjusted, but he recognized that there was something missing from restoring their health completely. This is when Maddie introduced him to The Wellness Way's approach to care, which focuses on all "3 T's" of chiropractic philosophy-- toxins, traumas, and thoughts. It was through this approach to care that he saw amazing results in, not only his own life and athletic performance, but his patients' as well.

Brett is excited to return back to Arizona to serve his community and bring a different approach to healthcare with him. He is dedicated to guiding his patients toward better health while fostering habits that will benefit their families for generations.

Madison Wagner

Maddie’s chiropractic journey began when she was an infant, a time when she suffered from chronic ear infections, and continued into her adult years, as she pursued her professional ballet career in New York City. Getting adjusted her whole life, Maddie has experienced for herself the power of the adjustment in restoring proper alignment, improving biomechanical function, and calming her nervous system.

Yet, there was still a missing piece in her health when she was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s and PCOS in her early 20’s. Through her own relentless research and searching for doctor after doctor to get to the root of her health issues, Maddie found The Wellness Way, and it completely changed her life. She was able to get comprehensive testing that she had never been aware existed, leading her to treat her thyroid and hormone issues from a whole-body approach. By combining The Wellness Way philosophy alongside chiropractic care, Maddie has successfully overcome her health challenges and is excited to help her patients experience the same breakthrough.

Today, Maddie is passionate about serving her community to empower them to take back their health! She has gone through the ups and downs of different types of care so that you don't have to. Through her own personal experience and education, she is prepared to get answers and results for her patients that are both long-lasting and sustainable.
